'Traditional bakery' has been the focus of our business for over thirty years.

visuel-briocheIn the late 70s, Gilles Fonteneau founded his craft bakery-patisserie shop in Chavagnes-en-Paillers.
Thirty years later, Brioches Fonteneau had become a fully-fledged company employing over 100 people in the Vendée.


This success was due to the company's two trump cards:
- its respect for the baker's tradition.
- its constant search for quality under the brand name 'Ma Boul'Ange'.

...and a string of awards to prove it, including 1st Prize for the best Vendée brioche in 1981, 1988 and 1992.

The first Vendée Brioche manufacturer to be awarded 'Certified Quality Criteria' certification, which guarantees the product's compliance with production, processing and packaging regulations. 'Ma Boul'Ange' brioches also carry the 'Red Label' guarantee.

Ever in search of the finest nutritional ingredients, 'Ma Boul'Ange' produces a range of Omega 3 brioches certified by the Bleu Blanc Coeur association.

With two production sites (2 200 m² at la Copechagnière & 6 000 m² at Boufféré), Brioches Fonteneau boasts a flexible, modern, high-performance facility.
